SAHA Membership Town Hall Meeting
A Review of Individual Training Plan (ITP) Integration

The SAHA Board has formed a sub-committee to evaluate the integration of an Individual Training Plan (ITP) as part of USA Hockey’s American Development Model (ADM). This Model is being adopted nationally by competitive youth organizations and utilizes the Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) framework. This framework acknowledges that the current method for developing athletes has been “negligent” in certain aspects of player development.  Our evaluation process is an effort to identify and correct these deficiencies in our program, while ensuring that we do not create a financial burden to the Association and individual participants.

The sub-committee has been gathering information from potential partners, conducting financial analysis, and reviewing potential value in an effort to identify the viability of integrating an ITP.  It is our goal to provide potential solutions that will allow our Association to compete at all levels and ensure the best value to our members.

Above is a copy of the brief presented at the May 21st Town Hall Meeting regarding ITP.  Please review the brief and direct your comments, questions, and feedback to admin@stillwaterhockey.net.

SAHA Sub-Committee,

If so, we would like you to consider publishing "The Redline"!  You will not need to write any articles (you can if you would like), we just need someone to edit and put the publication together.

Please contact Darrell for more information.
