HOCKEY IS FAMILY...No matter who you play for!

The Stillwater Bantam A and Park-Cottage Grove Bantam A teams planned a special shared ice event in support of PCG player Josh Karel. Josh is terminally ill with a rare autoimmune disease (see links to Josh’s story below). Pete Cote provided a picture that the Bantam A team presented to Josh during the event.

FUN NIGHT!

The teams were split up 50/50 between Stillwater and PCG players. They competed 5v5, 4v4, 3v3, and then finished with a shootout. By the end of the night, the boys were connecting — which was really cool to see. The two teams battled in the Hastings Tourney about 1 month ago with Stillwater getting the W (1-0) so it was great to see them all coming together!

SAVE THE DATE!

The Bantam A team also donated $$ to Josh's family which will come from a future fundraiser the team will hosting. SAHA members will receive an email when the fundraiser event details are finalized..likely in early March. Stay tuned!

Here are a couple of links about Josh’s story…
