For the second weekend in a row, SAHA hosted a big tournament and was once again, well represented on Championship Sunday!

SAHA's Skate For The Roses was held this weekend at the St. Croix Rec Center and Lily Lake Ice Arena.

Out of the 6 age groups, SAHA girls teams were in the championship games in 4 (U10A, U10B, U12A and U12B).

The U10A's breezed through it's first two games by a combined score of 11-2 before running into a tough Andover squad in the finals, losing 5-0 to take home second-place honors.

U10B Black took home the championship in its bracket defeating Edina 3-2 in the finals. It was nearly an all SAHA final at U10B, but Edina defeated U10B Red 5-2 in the semifinals. U10B Red ended up taking 4th.

U12A also made it to the finals and once again, it was Andover who stood in SAHA's way. Andover defeated U12A 8-0 in the championship game.

At U12B, it was the Red team that took him the title with a 2-1 win over Minnetonka. U12B Black was close to making it to the championship game, falling to Minnetonka 3-2 in the semifinals, but bounced back to beat Woodbury 6-3 in the 3rd Place game.

At U15A, SAHA lost in the opening round, but made its way to the consolation championship game. It ended up losing in that game 4-3 to St. Cloud. U15B played three games, losing its first two, but ending with a 2-0 win over St. Paul/Roseville.

Congratulations to all the SAHA teams for their play this weekend and for all Andover and Madison teams for winning their respective age groups.
