Hello,

As much as we tried, unfortunately, we will not have enough players for a JGB team, at this time. As such, we won’t have practice as scheduled for the time being. If we don’t get enough players to form a team over the next two days, we will offer refunds.

If that ends up being the case, there are potential options for the boys to play at some neighboring associations. Please let us know if your son would be open to playing elsewhere and we will help facilitate.

We will send an update by the end of Sunday. Our goal is to help allow your son to continue playing the game of hockey and we will try out hardest to make that happen.

ALL players MUST be registered through USA Hockey and SAHA PRIOR to taking the ice for the tryouts.  If you are NOT registered, you will not be allowed to participate. 

** ALL players must check in 1 hour prior to the FIRST session on day 1, Sunday and receive their tryout pinnies at the St Croix Recreation Center lobby. 

Goalies need to bring and wear a jersey with a number. 

GOALIES WILL SKATE BOTH TRYOUT SESSIONS.

If your name is not listed below, check in 1 hour prior to the first session to be assigned to one. 

After the first day of tryouts are completed, players will be assigned to their remaining tryout sessions.  Assignments will be posted on this website page.  

JUNIOR GOLD PRESKATE

SAHA is offering Junior Gold pre-tryout on ice sessions for registered Junior Gold players to prepare for the upcoming season. The sessions will be a combination of skills, conditioning, and scrimmaging. These sessions are included in the standard tryout fees for the Junior Gold level  

Sessions are posted on the Junior Gold tryout page beginning on October 22 and tryouts are scheduled for November 20. 

*The coaches will reserve the right to shift players between levels during tryouts to be able to have a fair assessment of each player's abilities.

Please see the team selections listed below. SAHA is continuing to work with neighboring associations through their tryout process to add players to the JGB team. More information will follow in the days to come and be shared with the players and families.
