The SAHA Annual Board of Directors Election is scheduled for Wednesday, May 27, 2020 This will be a drive-thru style election in the St. Croix Valley Rec Center parking lot from 6-8pm.
The terms for four board positions are expiring this election cycle. Where “incumbent” is indicated, the sitting member whose term is expiring, is planning to run again this cycle. Here are the official members running for board positions. On April 1, we will post the candidates letters.

Each person elected to one of the positions listed above will serve a two-year term from May 2020 – April, 2022. Active members of SAHA, in good standing, are eligible to run for board positions. Board members are required to attend board meetings throughout the year (the 4th Monday of each month) where recommendations, discussions and decisions are made. In addition, board members are assigned roles and responsibilities that will require time outside of board meetings to execute the board’s agenda for the year.
Nomination Process and Election Timeline
Members interested in serving on the board need to be nominated by an active SAHA member.
The nominator should submit the candidate’s nomination to the chairman of the Nomination Committee at least 35 days (by Monday, March 23, 2020 at 11:59pm) prior to the annual meeting.

The submission period for candidate interest applications will close at 11:59pm on March 23. There are no exceptions.
The Nomination Committee shall nominate at least one person for each office to be filled and report its nominees at the monthly meeting, on March 23, 2020, before the annual meeting.

April 1, 2020: Campaign letters and applications are due to the Dan Pavel, the nomination chairperson, via email at email@example.com
April 2, 2020: Letters will be posted on stillwaterhockey.net
April 27: Election will be held during the annual board meeting beginning at 6pm and concluding at the end of the board meeting. The board meeting is hosted at the Stillwater Family Means Building. Election results will be tallied at the end of the meeting and the winner will be announced.
